Eve in Eden
Eve in Eden Acrylic on Canvas Sold
In what first seems to be a beautiful garden scene, on closer inspection one can see that it is in fact a painting of the Garden of Eden in all of its glory. A still innocent and naked Eve is standing next to the Tree of Knowledge.
16 And the Lord God commanded the man, “You are free to eat from any tree in the garden; 17 but you must not eat from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil”
Looking closer at the painting, one sees the subtly slithering snake offering up to Eve the luscious fruit of the Tree of Knowledge."
4 “You will not certainly die,” the serpent said to the woman. 5 “For God knows that when you eat from it your eyes will be opened, and you will be like God, knowing good and evil.”
This painting is the moment right before Eve changes the course of history.
